LinQ Photonics exists to harness and advance coherent optical technologies—starting with LiDAR and expanding into broader applications—to transform the way industries measure, communicate, and innovate. Our immediate focus is on creating a versatile, “modular” coherent LiDAR core that meets pressing market needs in areas such as ranging, measurement, and communications. By designing the LiDAR system as a foundational “building block,” we can integrate additional modules or functionalities (e.g., hyperspectral imaging, extended-range processing, or coherent communications) to serve a wide spectrum of use cases and industries. This approach allows us to address immediate commercial opportunities and secure funding while laying the groundwork for future breakthroughs in classical and quantum communications and advanced sensing technologies.
